Its that time of year again where Jen and I truck the munchkins to good Ole Oaks Park in Sellwood. What a day today was, we had 6 total and may I saw very well behaved little tikes! Jen and I looked at each other like holy moly we could totally run our own daycare! It was quit a site all 6 of them running and trailing behind us all holding hands! They all had such a good time and we enjoyed also having two extra guests with us today, Ben and Kolten! They all agreed on which rides they were going to go on and how many times and who sits with who, it was like someone gave them the "Lets act like complete angels and asking nothing in return" drug, which was great and made it all the more pleasant for all of us =) Ofcourse story time at the end of with Chipper the "squirrel" was good times as always and so happy to have something yummy to eat after such an exhausting morning going on every ride imaginable =) Here's to many more fun Tuesdays this summer at Oaks Park!

Father's Day
Father's day is this weekend and I need to give a shout out to two fantastic father's; my daddy and my hubby!
My dad is such a truly wonderful and sweet man, Hes almost like the gentle giant! HA! Let me give you a little tidbit on why my dad is so wonderful and why I have so much respect for him. He worked soooooooo hard to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table, and I remember every Christmas, ofcourse being the typical kids we were, we wanted what we couldnt afford at the time and didnt really understand the whole "lack of money situation". But every Christmas morning when we would wake up, there it was; the hot red lips phone I'd always wanted, or my cool new stereo, or those guess jeans that all my friends had. I KNOW he had to work an extra job or just not pay a bill that month in order to get some of these things. Although he did not HAVETO do that, I know it made him happy to know he could and the smiles it put on our spoiled faces! He loves his family, he loves being with them, He loves when everone is happy and content and will do what it takes to see that happen but also taught us to have fantastic morals to be ourselves and not let anything get in our ways of doing what we set out to do.
My dad is halarious! When we were kids, he useto tell us all sorts of tales as we walked around the neghborhood or went anywhere and had us believing these tales and we would carry these around with us for years ofcourse until we got older and relized "NO WAY!" HA! He useto play hide and go seek with us in our basement with all of our friends after school and pretend he was a monster of some sort because the lights would be off and he would scare the crud out of us and it was such a blast!
I was addicted to my barbies until I was 11 yrs old, and my dad built me the biggest best barbie house EVER!!! he actually put real carpet in it and made all sorts of roms and such, it was Awesome! I kept that thing for so many years after I stopped playing with barbies because I just didnt have the heart to get rid of it.
My dad invented things over the years that some would say were "interesting" but we loved his inventions and thought he was so creative, he was just way ahead of his time! =) He made this funky cool chair that we called the mushroom chair, it was invnented to be more like an early ergonomic chair but never really got finished. So what does he do... he plops two snow skies on the bottom of it and sends us off to use it like a sled! and may I say it was the fastest most comfortable sled ever!
I could go on and on with these stories, but why dont I just end it by saying I love my dad and think he is a great father and role model and couldnt have asked for a better dad! I love you daddy! now here are some pictures of my dad passing on his wisdom and geekiness on to his grandchildren!....
my dad at Tiannas soccer class "warming up" with the kidos
Dad carrying Chase at the restaurant
Dad being goofy with T trying to get into a box!
Tiannas first lesson in roasting marshmellows and making a smore!
ahhh yes he is changing the diaper!! Gotta love that!
and This is Chases favorite sitting position and still is! My dad has this scopping thing he does and he can just fall right alseep!

Its PIZZA time!!!
The kids looooovvve to make pizza! Every time we head in to Trader Joes, Tianna runs over and grabs some of their already made pizza dough and throws in the basket. So what do we do? make a big huge mess and have a great time doing it and ofcourse, what do I do take the pictures! Tianna always says "mom I looooooove Peperoni pizza, but without the peperoni ofcourse" and I lokk at her very confused but hey let if flow right? so we make non-peperoni peperoni pizza if that makes any sense at all (are you staying with me here?) and it was yummy in our tummies as Chase would put it and even dad snagged some as he got home and said it was the best pizza ever! =)

Our fun trip over memorial Weekend!
We went over to the good ole ML for Memorial weekend with the fam and had good times despite our Car "issues". We were victims of crappy gas at the good ole station so now our car is in the shop! Oh the joys! We did some boating, some BBQ'ng and some fun sing-alongs outside as Nick and Casey jammed out on their guitars, it was good times! I love watching my husband's eyes get lit up and so filled with joy when he plays and is surrounded my music, it is so sweet!
On our way up there, we stopped at Maryhill at the Stonehedge and paid our respoects to the memorial there and the kids had a blast running around and going on adventures! Onour way back, we stopped at Skamania and went to this museum that had lots of old historical trucks and trains and such outside and the kids again loved the adventure and the story telling along with it. Thought we would share our trip and some pics. Love you all!

Tianna lst her first tooth!
Finally Im getting this update on here, She actually lost her first tooth last week and is so proud!!! She yelled "mommy!!!!! Looooooooook" and ofcourse I freaked out seeing her mouth a tad on the bloody side not knowing yet what had happened! So I run over scoop her up and run her into the bathroom and she says "Geesh mommy I only lost my tooth!" I stopped and stared at her little bloody mouth and laughed, here she has lost her first tooth, something that is completely new to her and she is as calm as a cucumber about the whole deal. You haveto love the bravery of a child! HA! She wanted me to instantly put her tiny little tooth in a plastic bag and hide it under neath her pillow for when the tooth fairy brings her something special in her sleep! She tried to stay awake to catch this tooth fairy flying into her room and give her this bag of change she happend to keep on her. Well when the tooth fairy (me) went into her room to make sure her little eyes were closed, She slipped a whole buck under there and she didnt even flinch! she had follan asleep ofcourse and couldnt wait that long I guess =) She woke up the next morning very early and came screaming into our room (again another heart attack for the parents) "mom looooook I got a dollar from the tooth fairy!!!" and ofcourse then she said "I felt her lift my pillow, it was amazing!!!" LOL So there ya go, a little story for ya and some pictures to share!

Is Summer really here? or is this a trick?

Gotta love this beautiful HOT weather! the second it turns the least bit warm and the sun comes out, Chase and Tianna say "MOM its pool time!!" so dad is out there pumping up the pool and getting all the water toys out and ofcourse getting wet as he does this. But isnt that what its all about? lol We swear Tianna should be a fish, because she LIVES in the Water when theres weather like this. Literally 24 7 the WHOLE summer! Now that Chase is getting bigger, its his turn and hes getting pretty useto it. Tianna puts him in his Hippo boat and they take turns racing eachother to the other end of the pool, and the splash and dive and welll..... lets just say we should just sleep outside because thats where we live right now. =) Some words of wisdom for this great weather fun.... 1) SUN BLOCK and more sunblock. 2) Water bottle galore 3) great sturdy sandles for their little footises because they will slip and slide if you dont and trip and fall more often for sure!
Daddy got us "HOT" chocolate from starbucks so we can have morning coffee with mommy and daddy out on the deck. And I think I did pretty good getting it all in!
Orrrrr maybe not??
Daddy is my hero! He pumped up our pool!
Im so ready for this, can I pllllllease go in now?
Yipppppppppeeeeeee!
So pooped.... I think Ill lay right here where everybody can walk over me! LOL
