Today was such a beautiful day and the kidos really enjoyed being outside! Tianna and Chase decided they wanted to plant their seeds in their own little pots outside. Chase was the official "waterer" as Tianna called him and Tianna was the "planter", they worked as a team and did a pretty darn good job! I love days like these and treasure these kinds of moments we can spend together. We thought we would share some pics from our day.

Ahh Finally some Easter Pics

Ok so I know Im really bad but I honestly did not get hardly any Easter pics at all, It seems to always be total caoss with so much going on that Sometimes a girl's gotta put down the camera. HA! The night before Easter we colored Easter Eggs and ofcourse made a big ole mess but isnt that what its all about! So no shirts for the kids and off we go to make our eggs. Tianna has been very creative and decided she was going to figure out how to stripe her eggs with different colors and then once it dries, she put princess stickers all over them! Chase is kind of new at this whole thing since last year he really couldnt do it on his own. HE was concentrating so hard to get the egg in the color and out onto the plate to dry, it was quite the task for the little man. Sure he broke a few, even flicked a few at dad by accident but again isnt that what Easter is really about, Flicking Eggs at Dad! HEre are a few pics to share with you........ Hope everyone had a happy and safe Easter!

The End of Coug

Yeterday was one of the worst days of Tiannas Life (in her 5 yr old life that is). She has officially lost coug for good. She had a dentist apt yesterday and I let her take him to comfort her and well it started from there, we went to several places afterward and turns out I completely forgot about coug and if she even had him in any of the places we went. After calling and calling all the places and going to each of them personally and walking around and looking under places, No Coug and lots of tears! We gave our phone number and explained to each store clerk how deeply important this coug is to our 5 yr old, so hey maybe it will turn up some day. It always had come back to her before after being run over and left in the mud and rain, Left in the bottom of the pillow bin at the Ikea, left in the Macy's store in the kithen department, and OMG so many other places. But yet he seems to find his way home to his best friend. Last night Tianna was wishing upon a star for her coug to come home and I happen to get it on video tape when she didnt know I was there. She and daddy even made up a song about coug and how great he was. (That will come soon and it will be famous) LOL. We thought we would share a few pictures of dear ole coug.

Tianna is turning 5!!

Sometimes we step back and just stare at what god gave us 5 years ago and you know we wonder sometimes... how the heck did we get so darn lucky to have such beautiful and healthy children! Tianna is turning 5 and it makes us sad because she is growing up so fast but also so excited to see what kind of woman she will become down the line. We strive to be the best parents we can and hope that the good we have brought into her life, she will use in her own. Tianna is such a joy for us and everyone around her, its something about her spirit that draws people to her that just makes us so happy to see. She is kind and so giving and has this spark about her that makes me laugh! She is sooooooooo smart and is so excited to start kindergarten this year. Ofcourse she says "I cannot wait to ride the bus mommy, it will so much fun" and I think to myself, do I really want to send her away on a bus to her first day of school??? NO WAY!!!! I dont even think I will get through the day without being right by her door waiting for her to come out and tell me all about it. Sure she will ride the bus sometime like she wants, but you know what? knowing me I will be right behind her in the car following her all the way to school! Sure this will change someday but not until I'm completely comfortable with her ride, HA! She is so excited for her birthday and has made all her own decorations with paper and decided to tape them on the walls, pictures coming soon of that one! She is getting a NEW 16" Princess bike! she saw it at Toys R us and picked it out and rode it all over the store! it cracked us up! Her old bike was way to small and she is so happy to finally be able to ride her bike without getting leg cramps! HA!
